Capoeira Resistencia Movement
Capoeira Resistencia may have started here… In Recife, a group of 40 slaves rebelled against their master, killed the white workers and burned down the plantation house. The now freed slaves headed into the mountains. They eventually reached Palmares, where an an African community that lasted almost a century was born.
The very first forms of Capoeira came from Palmares.

Good video!
I like seeing kids play capoeira. You really never know what to expect out of them. It's funny because they will do movements that take others weeks to try due to fear. It's like when you're a kid you really have none of the fears that we're conditioned later to have.
Thanks!

Love the kid in the stripped shirt. He's so good!
